i currently have cinnamon roll dough rising in the frige. it has to sit there for 2.5 hours, then once i have them assembled they have to be in the fridge overnight. the recipe is here. it better be fucking good cause this is a lot of time and effort.
i think something may be wrong with my mixer. i was looking at the book, how to lock it, and the picture only shows it going halfway over. any time it has something difficult to mix, like the cinnamon roll dough i just made, it moves the lock on its own and the mixer ends up flying open. tonight it flew up almost all the way, and mom and i shrieked. that can't be how it's *supposed* to function. mom said maybe it was damaged somehow in shipping. owen bought a two-year warranty on it because he knows i'm abusive to my belongings. for once, though, this seems to be naturally defective. for $220, i (and i assume owen) expect this to work flawlessly!
i STILL can't believe mom's quitting her job! she seems so much happier, which makes me happy. she only has four more days, monday through thursday of next week. sweet!
