this afternoon tima started vomitting. i didn't think too much of it other than it smelled so bad i thought i was going to vomit as well. well, the third time she did it, when she was on the stairs, she vomitted blood. then the fourth at the foot of the stairs it was blood. then the fifth in front of the harry potter closet, which i happened to catch on some paper, was a peachy color, which i'm assuming is blood mixed with other stuff. of course this all happened as i'm leaving for work, so i had to try to explain to jennifer what was going on coherently; i was crying so much. she has a vet appointment tomorrow morning at 10:20.
layla just called and said her cat got hit by a car. i'm really glad i'm getting off early tonight; she's going to see him at 10:30 p.m. at the pet hospital, so i'll get to go with her. he was hit in the face. he won't be able to see out of his right eye, and his jaw is broken. if his brain doesn't hemorrhage during the night, he should live, however. he'll need surgeries, but layla's got an emergency credit card to use.
