hmm, let's recall what i've been thinking about the past few days. i wasn't faring so well at syd of valis, so i switched to the other game i got, ristar. man, i love that game. it reminds me of sonic and ghouls and ghosts, the sounds mostly. i started playing sonic 2 on my dreamcast, and one night i actually sat there for like seven hours. i have three most adorable chaos: captain peacock, cheetah, and roast. captain peacock started out as a peacock (i named her after the guy in "are you being served," you know, the british comedy that comes on saturday nights). i can't remember what animal's tail she has now, but she has ram horns now. she's white with a green belly, and she doesn't have legs.

cheetah started out as a cheetah (leopard, whatever), as you may have guessed, but after having a boar, bat, tiger, and gorilla, he now has tusks, a huge tan unibrow, tiger striped hands, and no feet.

roast is black. she used to have a unicorn horn, but now she's got rainbow feathers from a parrot, gorilla ears, and tusks. she's still just a baby. (: currently they're all in kindergarten learning the go go dance.

wow, did i really just go off about my chao? that leads me to my supreme sadness of monday. i was supposed to see rx bandits, but since layla didn't go, i couldn't either. :sigh: so goes life when you have one reliable friend [jennifer], and she doesn't like ska. i dunno, i like old pharmacutical bandits better, and at their last show he said if we request an old song they'd get mad. that's lame. a pretty boy jennifer works with was even going to be there.

to reprieve my sadness, i got a happy meal and got a new sega game. now i've got aiai, shadow (i love his voice), sonic, and tails. only two left; i wonder if they'd let me pick which toy i got?

going backward, saturday night around 1:00 a.m. jennifer, brittany, and myself went to kerbey lane to find harris, b.k.a. lex. he's just the most beautiful thing ever (hyperbole). he was there, so the entire hour and a half we spent there consisted of gawking at him, brittany beating on the table every time someone said "wife beater" (which lex was wearing beneath his shirt) and brittany and i laughing at and making fun of everyone who walked by (we were at a booth by the door) to jennifer's supreme embarrassment. we saw john briley there, a guy we went to high school with. he has un-mess-up-able hair. he reminds me of a ken doll.

after that jennifer went to bed while brittany and i watched scary movie 2. what with all the references she'd been making, the best being "i'll fart in your mouth!", we had to see it.

the next morning jennifer's mom got there, and once i woke up at 4:00 p.m. (oi!) we went a few places, ending up at golden corral. jennifer's mom kept gawking at one of the waitors, and had him get her another coke. when she called him over, jennifer and i started laughing and left the table; we were scared of what she was going to do. ;)

in the parking lot, there was a mexican chick laughing it up with some guy while her kid ran off into the parking lot. as i walked by her, i said, "someone going to kill that kid. splat!" she didn't so much as look at me, so i turned around and yelled, "is that your kid!" she looked at me as if to ask why i was bothering her, and again i yelled, "you need to get your kid!" after a second or two she looked around and saw him, calling him over to her. quoth jennifer's mom: "they don't raise 'em, they just keep havin' 'em." word. i've wanted to yell at a shitty parent for so long. it didn't feel as good as beating them would, but nonetheless i got to yell.

last night jennifer and i rented the two japanease ring movies, the ones the american ones were based on. some of the changes were for the better, but ring 2 was definitely scary as shit. then we watched demon knight. :purrs: billy zane... when we were talking about him in blockbuster last week, a guy behind us who worked there started talking like a girl, going off about him: "oh billy zane! he's so wonderful! i'm going to start a fan club!" it was cute, even if he was making fun of us.

i made oatmeal cookies with chocolate and peanut butter chips, and they're good. i got some more yu-gi-oh stickers, another celtic guardian (which is good cause i don't know what i did with the other), kuriboh, and mystical elf. she's so pretty. i also got a trap card from golden corral, the ultimate offering. it's from yu-gi's starter deck. "at the cost of 500 life points per monster, a player is allowed an extra normal summon or set." that's about it i suppose.

"but would you please keep the noise down low? cause you're waking the lazy sunbathers."
