papaw's surgery lasted like half the scheduled amount of time. since the artery in the back of his heart was so good, they didn't even have to dig into his leg. so here's this picture i was talking about, which is much happier anyway than those others!
mom called me after her shot, too. she said it didn't hurt, just that there was a lot of pressure when it got to the bone. hopefully this will keep her from having to have surgery. :/
