this is
what owen got me for valentine's day. it's one of those things (including the
game mouse trap and a hot wheels race track) i've always wanted yet never
received. yay!
i went to target for a new shower curtain and got a lot more crap, including really cheap sheets and a new quilt. one set's purple with dark purple squiggly stitches, and the other's flowery like the quilt.
i also got a neat shower caddy at the container store and almost died assembling it. i learned a foot-long spring under a great amount of pressure is very dangerous.
i was so
tired of having all this shit just sitting around the tub and making it dirty.
thus continues my love affair with the container store...
mom, doug, and sarah got here friday night. one of the perks of your dad being the store director of toys r us? statues of mario that are over four feet tall!
during our antiquing on saturday, owen broke down and went halvsies with me on a pitcher and mug set.

we saw the lion king at bass last night, and it was really fantastic. it was better than i even expected it to be. i'm so excited i get to go back in march with owen! then, we'll be on the fourth row. i'll get to see all the animals parading up the aisle up close. yesterday morning we went to the zoo, so i'll leave you with a gazillion pictures from that.

the patas tried to take some of the zipper pulls on my camera. then when i yanked
it away, he got pissed and started pacing and staring at me. man he was
pissed.
