merry christmas! i miss owen. ;(
for some reason i never sleep on xmas eve into xmas day. i don't know why. i guess no matter how little it feels like xmas, i still know deep down what it's all about. this year's more festive-feeling than last year, despite the problems. aunt linda dying, aunt patty's cancer getting worse, grandma in the hospital because she had her gallbladder taken out. i guess that just emphasizes the reason we're here. it's strange having a relatively empty house. it'll just be me, sarah, mom, doug, nana, and papaw. toby, monte, and patty may show up tomorrow if she's feeling up to it. mom said it was nice the other night it just being the four of us, how it had been a long time since it was just us home.
well, i guess this is enough philosophizing. i'm actually looking forward to gorging myself at breakfast tomorrow, so i suppose i should go to bed. i'm already hungry. ^_^
