i moved!

but first, i must mention my tooth pain woes. the doctor wrote me a note allowing me to be off wednesday, thursday, and friday, so that rocked. i've been taking celebrex and skelaxin, and i'm feeling dandy compared to this time last week. i still can't chew on my left side, and biting down hurts some, but i'm sleeping and eating like nobody's business. i think my body's trying to compensate. a guy i work with, daniel, mentioned my throat chakra and asked if there was anything i was holding back, pointing out, "and what do you do when you try to sleep? bite your tongue?" i don't know what it could be, though. i thought about this whole job issue, but i wrote an email to the boss. i haven't talked to him in person, but my feelings are still out there. i dunno, as rude/honest as i appear to be to some people, i keep a lot inside. i'm not sure what's in there that's bad enough to give me TMJ, though. oh yeah, did i mention it was that?

so yes, moving. i signed the lease thursday afternoon. my eyes were watery, and my nose snotty, so now the woman working there (julia) knows i'm allergic to "anything with fur," to quote myself, and assumes i have no pets. she nearly caught us when we were moving them in, though. as much as they like to sit in the windows, i'd like to pay the deposit. it's $350, however, and with rent so high ($550) i'd like to keep whatever extra money i may accrue. at midnite tonight i will have $1370 in my checking account, plus the some $140 i have in cash. sadly, by july 1st, that balance will be around $200. yowza. is that how one would spell that?

mom, doug, nana, papaw, and sarah showed up around 5:00 o'clock friday. we hung out, and on saturday the painful work began. it took about two hours to load the truck. i was only out in the sun total about half an hour, you know, a minute here and there to put something in the truck, and my shoulders, back, and chest got sunburned. that's a testament to just how little time i spend in the sun. my chest isn't red anymore, but my shoulders are (save for the little spaghetti strap of my tank top), and there's a fading red U on my back. the sun is so fucking evil.

my new place is super cool. you can go here to see the "rough draft," if you will. when everything's unpacked and put up, of course i'll talk more. at least look at this one. i love that.

i got a new trash can and shower curtain, and mom gave me her old vacuum. papaw gave me $100 of a big job he just did (he's a retired carpenter), so that makes up for the $85 spent on doctors and medicine last week.

after vacuuming the living/dining area of the old apartment, i realized the carpet doesn't look as bad as i thought. i bought some shoe polish to try and cover the bleach stains fuckface jennifer left. who the hell puts bleach on a carpet??

deep, cleansing breath. inhale, exhale.

ok. i've got til friday to get all my stuff still left over there. i went through an entire tank of gas this weekend (around $30), and it'll probably take that much to finish out my apartment. hopefully only that much.

saturday night i could hear the bass from a neighbor's stereo, but not in my bedroom. which is the size of an olympic swimming pool, by the way.

i always have a parking space no more than 20 feet from my door. straight path. i'm loving this no stairs bit. i can jump and stomp and it doesn't matter a bit.

i bought raid for the rolly polies and whatever else may feel the need to creep into my apartment. i did the tile, now this afternoon i have to vacuum and do the carpet. there's an overwhelming odor of "country fresh" in my apartment. poison never smelled so good i tell ya. the carpet stuff is "melon burst," and i got a lily candle. this place is staying litter-smell-free. it helps the box is nestled within the bathroom, right next to my toilet. we can use the bathroom together. ;)

last night i watched "mission hill," "baby blues," and "harvey birdman." it was glorious.

oh my @!%#$
