oh, i completely forgot. last week when layla and i ate pluckers, we were so disgusted by the food i wrote them this email, upon layla's suggestion:
When my friend and I first moved to Austin three years ago, we lived on
the UT campus and spent, literally, hundreds of dollars on your chicken
baskets because we'd never tasted anything so wonderful. Since we've moved
off campus and now support ourselves, our take-out regimen has significantly
decreased, but tonight our empty stomachs and proximity to your restaurant
caused us to cave. Not only do the strips look burnt and a little abused,
they taste terrible. The breading on the former strips were what
contributed most to the great taste, and now we're extremely sad. As
aforementioned, it's been a while since we've ordered this particular dish,
so we're not too sure how long this has been happening or how others have
responded to this change. We just felt dismayed enough that we needed to
let you know.
