you're only as sick as your secrets

the title i got from an artist. i want to get it tattooed somewhere no one would readily see. i <3 it.

i dropped off applications for the history museum today at 201 e. 14th street, suite 950 in the sam houston building. once i left, i stood at the window by the elevators until i heard someone coming, staring down at the state archives and library, the capital, and all the small people making their ways around trees in their business attire. i could have just stood there forever. there's a garage just across the street that's free to park in, so i'm thinking of going back and up to the 10th floor and taking a picture. it's nothing spectacular, just 10 floors up, but it's really nice. downtown is so exciting during the day when the sun is up, everyone hurrying around with squinty eyes and fanning themselves with a paper. the song "downtown" was written for me.

friday night [saturday morning] around 4:00 a.m. i got a call from drunk co-workers, so i headed to liz's. i didn't little-ize the pictures because i'm lazy.

i'm not sure what dana and le'britney are looking at. i got a picture of le'britney's boobs, but i deleted it. ;) i also got a picture of her putting her leg behind her head, but for the sake of her privacy i'll leave that off. hehe

liz's door is red, and i like that. it's like american beauty.

liz was terribly stoned, but after much ado from us she took out in the rain for a strawberry cheesecake ice cream thing. she dropped it on the ground, and everyone's trying to clean it off. she didn't care, though. she ate bits of dirt and all. ;)

that is cute. i love this picture.

around 5:30/6:00, cole and i went to le'britney's. she turned out the lights, put in a cd of a thunderstorm, opened her blinds so we could see downtown, and lit a candle. moments later she's in the floor, and i'm dozing on cole's knee.

as cole and i were leaving not too soon after i dozed off, he pointed out plants outside of her apartment that reminded him of marijuana. i took one that showcases the plant more, but this one reminds me of the cover of an old, cheesy horror film.

isn't that great? "no," reply readers.

when i got home, i climbed the stairs and saw two little eyes glowing from inside the bathroom. i turned on the light and found tima waiting for an ambush.

peaches played at emo's friday night. i'm a little sad i couldn't see her.
"i read an article about how great peaches' show was."
"well i read an article in 'owen monthly' about how awesome you are and how much i love you. if...when i move i'll go to any show you want, ok?"
le sigh. how many people send you messages late at night saying they're thirsty for your blood? that's love.

that's about it, i suppose. my sleeping schedule has become bizarre yet again, but maybe i can get to sleep after this.

<3, chels.
