jennifer and i went to a party at tim's on saturday night, wherein i threatened to "fucking burn [tim's] retarded mexican face off." chelsea's been a bit unbalanced lately. the next day as i was crossing guadelupe at 24th, a jeep failed to yield to me and had to slam on his brakes approximately a foot from my hip. i stopped, flipped him off, and said "fuck you." the guy crossing with me scoffed and said "asshole." it was nice having a stranger support me. then last night, jennifer and i were behind a truck going 50 mph down the interstate. i mentioned he was probably stoned and as i was about to exit, he started getting over even though i was next to him. i laid on my horn for like four seconds before he realized he was inches within hitting me. then as i was turning onto san antonio, these guys decided to cross even though they had a don't walk sign. as soon as i could i sped past them. quoth jennifer, "this is as much excitement i've had in a while: almost getting hit, endangering the lives of pedestrians."
that paragraph is a good assessment of my edginess as of late. chelsea is a cranky kitty.
i did, however, acquire 10 episodes of "dragnet" on dvd last night for $5.98. i also got rodan; i couldn't find godzilla and mothra again. ;(
cat, jennifer, and i went to kerbey lane last night, and the guy from pretty the quick black eyes was working. le sigh. heh. he was once a target, but not for very long.
this morning from 4:00-5:00 jennifer and i made wallets out of duct tape (she saw it on martha stewart). mine's got a black stripe, then red, then black on the outside, and the inside's all multi-colored with red, black, blue and white. i cut out stars from the white tape and put them across the outside. on the back, i put a slow children at play panel ("don't tell me to shut my face!" "then don't give me justification!"), and on the front put a panel of a t-rex saying "i love you" to a triceratops, then him saying "just kidding." i'll have to photograph it; i like it. (: it's got two pockets for cards and the big pocket for money and everything, even a pretty pearl snap.
i suppose that's all for now. going four days between posting makes me forget everything that i've been thinking about.
