hahaha look at the mood. "hella good." :falls over: i just showed jennifer, and she appreciated it. i can't expect anyone else to, as usual.

soo hrm. last night as i was lying in bed, i thought of a phrase to start this out with that was silly and something i'd never say. alas, i cannot think of it now. oh well.

i'm in the pcl, one of the many libraries on campus. jennifer and i came to get additional copies of the seventh, eighth, and ninth books of a series of unfortunate events now that we're both on the seventh one. the sixth one was the best so far, and we're now finding out beatrice has an actual part in the plot. ahh so good! i read the entire sixth one yesterday, and it's 259 pages. they're growing larger as the series continues; the ninth is nearly 300. i really hope harry potter's new one isn't 700 like the goblet of fire. oi.

so, this weekend. it was nice. friday night frank and i went up (or down) to the drafthouse to see someone's homemade version of raiders of the lost arc, but it was sold out. there was this harley convention thing this weekend, and all the motorcycles were so damned annoying and loud. since i was in movie mode, we rented stigmata and vampire journals, some crappy little thing i found in the horror section. i'm on an eternal quest to find a good horror film. they have the best potential, but no one is harnessing that potential. he actually stayed to watch it, even though he fell asleep in my lap. it wasn't that bad, like, excessively sucky. there were lots of boobs. hooray boobs.

saturdaaay i slept til 2:00, got my whore pills, and hung out at toys r us for 45 minutes waiting for jennifer to get off at 4:00. when we got home, we both fell asleep and didn't wake up until 10:00 p.m., when her mom called. then we just sat in the living room, she reading, i going back and forth between reading and gba.

sunday, i woke up a little before 2:00 again, read a third of the sixth book, and frank came over to change my oil (i won't even pretend like i help anymore; all i do is pour in the oil now). we went to pick up jennifer, and i bought the most bad ass bubble blower. on our way home we stopped at the dollar store, where i found a die cast wolverine to go with my rogue and gambit and a cheap little gun. while we changed my oil, jennifer made a pizza from scratch (dough, too), and i terrorized the cats with my bubbles and gun pellets. suddenly jennifer suggested going to the lake, so we got into my car and went out to the arboretum ASAP. heh.

i like the little pond out there because of all the birds, but most of them were out in the water. i shot one duck with my gun (it has little to no force behind it, so i'm sure it felt like a tap) and chased another with the bubble machine. it was really pretty because the sun was setting (we didn't get there until around 8:30). our hike back up was in almost complete darkness.

when we got home, andrew, someone jennifer works with, brought over his cat for us to babysit for nine days. she bit me, but that's ok; she's frightened i'm sure. tima was hissing at her, so we've got her in jennifer's room and tima and janeane in the living room. i'm becoming more addicted to harry potter on my gba, and i'm glad frank was there while i was playing. there was this one flying part that for some reason i couldn't get the hang of (it was so lame and sad), so he did it. not in record time to get a card, but nonetheless, i'm past that now.

the rest of the night just consists of more reading, finishing the sixth and the first two chapters of the seventh. it's getting so good. i guess that's about it. this one's so long! i really need to get my computer fixed (jennifer's not going to replace her modem since we're getting cable in a couple of months).

"do it all again, same time, same friends."
