today was the beeeeest. ok, so i'm drugged and super hyper. sorry. alex went home last night at 10:00, which is super cute; she couldn't stay after all. it's so funny how they do that. papaw woke me up at 9:00 a.m. with a back/foot/hand rub, and at 2:00 p.m. mom, doug, sarah, nana, papaw and myself trecked to the greenwood flea market. wee! greenwood's right outside of shreveport, by the way. i got this rad faery necklace for $8, an old book for 40 cents, and a pair of shoes with kiwis on them for $10. they're a size 39. :giggle: they're japanese.

after that we went to aunt betty and uncle bill's to drop off a back scratcher papaw got for uncle bill. they're not really relatives, but they've been best friends of my grandparents for 40 years. aunt betty babysat me a lot when i was little. that's how she makes money, babysitting. right now she watches eight kids, the oldest who's six, all of whom she's watched since they were born. so we invited them to jan's, the best seafood restaurant, and we venture there. and ate the best fried catfish. :falls over: that was a nice surprise, seeing them. it's been so long.

we came back to longview then. i got some money from nana and bought the third and fourth books in a series of unfortunate events. mom bought me the first two, so now i've got the bad beginning, the reptile room, the wide window, AND the miserable mill. if you'll recall, the miserable mill has sent me to three libraries in search of it. now i've got it! luckily i managed to go through books-a-million without seeing anyone.

when i got back, mom, nana, sarah and i started playing dominos...and just finished about half an hour ago. that's three hours of dominos. ;) we watched mad tv some and kept imitating stewart when he gets mad, his red rum voice. hahaha. we just laughed the whole time. it was ridiculous. i wish i could've captured it all on video.

now i'm fockin [sic, think meet the parents] exhausted and going to lie down and read the miserable mill. it's only saturday, and i've already had the best time!

"i'm deraaaaaaanged..." ha, i love this song.
