"my town," buck-o-nine
:squeals: i have so much fucking energy. today has been so pseudo-productive.
soo yesterday around 6:00 p.m. i fell asleep waiting for frank to come back from putting his clothes in the washer. that's how fucking tired i am: i fell asleep in literally one minute. i touched the bed and i was out. i woke up at 11:30 and saw all these IM windows and thought, "what the fu-" but was back asleep before the thought could finish. i woke up at 1:30 a.m., and was very curious/worried as to why i didn't have clothes on. then i remembered falling asleep in a towel.
i rolled out of bed to read all the messages people had left (owen's were the best, naturally) when cat called. i went to his house and slept there for a few hours, leaving at 9:00 a.m.
it's so weird when pimples arise overnight. i got one on my cheek, but it was very complient and popped easily and is now gone. good for it. the beasties seem to be going away for now. and the peasants rejoice. when i left, i went to burger king and got a breakfast thing with a croissant and tator tots and coffee. then i got gas, bought chicken strips, sour cream an onion ridged potato chips, oatmeal pies, and tampons (splendid things that will forever amaze me), then hauled my ass home. the coffee was gross (i just wasn't in the mood), so i chucked it for tea. mmm iced tea.
ok so then i went to class, and i actually talked to blockley afterward. we were talking about the verb fledden, the middle english past tense for flee. it's weak because there's a d there that's not in the infinitive, but -en usually means strong. she didn't really know how to explain it, so i asked her afterward if it was over compensation. like the word children is a double plural: childer is plural (like kinder in german, i guess, in light of kindergarten), and -en was just tagged on there. last semester, i told her, in middle english i had seen verbs like that, that were double past, and she said, "that's ingenius." haha. i was like, um..hmm.. she said she thinks it was conjugated as a past participle, but she couldn't tell for sure since there wasn't enough of its environment. so yay i talked to her. i really do admire her; she's so knowledgable about english, like, incredibly so.
i went on a shopping spree afterward, but i need to leave for work. :bows: until then.
