i have now successfully made my way through five episodes of "sex and the city." i think i was as upset as carrie when aiden left, but my dear john corbett has been replaced!

all i know is i need a hot guy to look at while all the boring stuff goes on, and steve isn't around enough. as much of an utter nerd that liking steve makes me, i'm actually sitting here at a quarter to three in the morning writing about this shit. i've officially lost my mind. my shallow nature has just taken over.

i had an interview for an admin position in the phil m. ferguson structural engineering research laboratory this morning. for once in my life i didn't bomb like i usually do. it was like bizarro chelsea with head-nodding answers and who could make them laugh. honestly, i was proud to walk around gravel and mud in three-inch heels, so it's a personal victory in that capacity at least.

earlier this afternoon i was discussing with a guy who works in pts how i'm probably sick all the time because i never sleep. case in point. maybe i should go.

<3, chels

p.s. my uncle (well, great-uncle, grandmother's brother) is in the hospital for the second time in the past month. like everyone in my families he has heart problems, but his lungs are only working at 50% capacity. at least that's what they said last time, and he's having the same symptoms this time. this could likely be because of his heart medication(s). his name is felix ray rigdon and he's only 74, so send him good vibes. (he's in shreveport, by the way, so send them northeast, and possibly with some mudbugs.)
