i got a new phone, complete with fingerprint smudges on the display screen!
so it's not as fancy as some people's phones, but i've got an eight megapixel camera. why do i need some shitty camera phone? i'd had my old phone for 2.5 years, so i only had to pay $32 dollars for this one. i could have gotten one for free, but it didn't have a caller ID window on the outside. i really don't have my priorities right...
what prompted this is the fact work's giving me a monthly $30 stipend for phone usage, plus i'm getting a 23% discount since i work at UT. all of this, hopefully, adds up to some savings, which sadly will be offset by the $15 rent increase effective next month. ;(

i have to work orientation tomorrow. [insert infinite sadness here] all this time has gone by without having to regularly cashier, so the thought of dealing with a thousand people milling about BRG is horrifying to me. oh well, i'm going to leave at lunch and actually be gone for 60 minutes. plus, i get to leave at 2:30 for an endodontist appointment. for once i'm excited about this.
i can already tell a difference, though, just from the two teeth she's worked on. i figure i can just max out my credit cards to get it over with, and worry about paying later. UGH. i'll have to show you x-rays some time when it's not 11:30 at night. time for sleep!
