you know what i love? being awoken at 4:00 a.m. to the sound of a dump truck. x_X

stephanie gave owen and me tickets to see the new star wars movie, so since we didn't have to pay we went to see it. it was okay, at least better than the last two. it looked amazing, and that's saying a lot considering what a critic i am on special effects. unfortunately, CG does not a good movie make.

before it started, the guy sitting next to owen started talking to us and would not shut up. i was telling him we weren't excited at all, and the only reason we were there was because it was free. eventually he got the hint after owen completely ignored him, and he left us alone.

yesterday i bought this:

it is the coolest fucking thing ever. well, not really, but for $6 it's really close. chibi-lego-wolverine is the cutest thing ever. on a purchasing binge between wal-mart and target (the two deadliest places), i also bought: a bath rug in the shape of a sprawled-out duck; a bath mat, blue, with yellow ducks on it; a shirt that says, "it's my boyish charm"; a shirt with a collar and neat beach-themed stripe across the chest (those both came from the boys' department); pink socks with kittie heads, flowers, and hearts on them; hello kitty panties, one with rainbow hearts, the other with rainbow stripes; a new collar for tima, multi-colored green leaves; a new collar for janeane, hot pink zebra stripe! i also bought the 10th anniversary thing of clerks and :drumroll: the first season of "clarissa explains it all"!!! though that was a few days ago. man, i really spend too much money on stupid shit.

anyhoo, also yesterday, as i was watching owen play final fantasy ix, i was overcome by how horribly filthy and cluttered our apartment is. this began a grueling several hours of cleaning which lead to horrific allergic attacks all night. but i made great advances, threw away a lot of shit (via owen, who carried it to the dumpster), finally hauled all this crap to goodwill that's been sitting in the closet for nearly a year, and re-organized the closet so owen can have half the drawer space in the chest of drawers.

before passing out last night, i took an allergy cocktail: 24-hour clariten; 12-hour allegra; two sprays each nostril (one, 24-hour dose) nasonex. i'm hoping this won't one day kill me. i should ask someone about it.

for some reason unbeknownst to me i peruse the photo gallaries at msn and e!online. i found this picture of lindsay lohan, and it's horrifying:

what the hell is up with that? even her big, fake boobs can't keep up with such anorexia. she said she lost her "baby fat," but how many 18-year-old girls do you know having growth spurts?

i got owen and me tickets for :another drumroll:

homestar runner! i'm even braving going downtown on a friday night for this. and i quote:

Woot. Woot. Woot. Heres a weekend thats going to be soooo goood that youd have to be a moron to miss it. Seriously. Were bringing Matt and Mike Chapman, the Brothers Chap themselves, live to the Alamo to present a heaping helping of Strongbad, Trogdor, Teen Girl Squad, Homestar, Marziban, and basically all of your favorite H*R characters in a smorgasbord of cartoons and extras you cant see anywhere else. These two titans of online entertainment have even promised us that theyll be bringing the Homestar Runner puppet and shooting an original video just for use in these shows. With the massive popularity of their website, we cant imagine that these shows wont sell out in advance, so be sure to reserve your seats today!

trent's concert is the day after tomorrow, and i'm trying to avoid thinking about it so i don't have a panic attack. it's been so long since i've had one; i certainly don't want it to happen on account of such a joyous ocassion.
