saturday owen and i went to see house of wax, mainly because alamo village is showing paris hilton's sex tape before the midnight showings on thursday, friday, and saturday. i missed out when it first surfaced, so i figured i could get both celebrity sex and a crappy movie together. i didn't think the movie would be that crappy, but oh well.
work has had be strung out for a while, but on tuesday and today i got to work at another garage and vacation. thank god. working over there with sibyl and beverly and laughing for nine hours a day really helped. today i was even doing work i didn't need to just to help daniel.
for example, someone found a cell phone by the elevator and turned it into us. when colleen got there to work this afternoon, she turned it on and saw the name on it was "big bad black guy." after trying his mother's numbers, they decided to go with "j-dog," a recent incoming call. turns out j-dog, a.k.a. jeremy, is big bad black guy's roommate. he called back, and all three of us were cracking up while sibyl tried to talk to him. she told him, "we're not trying to play. we're just laughing cause we got a big bad black guy's phone up in here." she said he was laughing, too.
unfortunately, that's all going to end tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. i have to work on the gate all day during UIL shit, and most likely it's going to suck. i'm going to try to go to bed very early, though, and even get an icee before i go for old times' sake (i always had them before orientation and horrible event shifts to wake me up).
so now i'm going to go eat so all this unhappiness can get rolling. oh, and tomorrow's friday the 13th, and i'm driving to longview in the traffic of all these students getting out of school this semester. i have a feeling i'm going to have a breakdown tomorrow. x_X
