there are many benefits of owning an owen. for example:
if i notice the litter box is full when i leave for work, if i ask it'll be clean when i get home.
he seems to vacuum, or "run the sweeper" as he says, nearly every day. which is good for my allergies.
he does laundry, you know, that thing i only did five or six times a year (literally).
when i lose stuff, he has the uncanny ability to find it.
when i'm playing jet set radio future and trying to beat the rapid99 in a flag race that is so annoying because i fucking hate 99th street and am angry i have to return�ahem. he can beat frustrating parts in video games that i have no patience for.
he's getting exodus DSL and will fix hinkypunk II (my computer).
he feeds the stray kitties while i'm at work, and brushes ti-mar and janeane in an effort to prevent hairballs.
he feeds me such that the only times i've paid for food in the past couple months is when i'm getting lunch at work.
if you have a question about any random thing, he'll be able to answer it and give you a history lesson along with it.
he doesn't mind that the monkey in me needs to groom and pop a pimple should he get one (it's very zen-like, the searching and inspecting, and gratifying even if i don't find anything).
he doesn't mind when i do stupid motherly things like cover him up in the middle of the night, or put watermelon chapstick on his lips before he goes to sleep so they don't get dry at all.
even though he thinks i secretly hate him, he forgives me for punching him in the face while i'm sleeping and stealing the covers.
he bought a huge new pretty tv. mmm flat screen.
he tolerates when sarah's being freakish and overly affectionate.
he gives me good fashion advice.
he's really good at [insert what your dirty mind is thinking here].
and then, you know, there's all that he says about me being the most amazing/wonderful/keen/beautiful/etc. girl in the world, and that i've given the former crazy shell of a heartless boy a reason to live and care about other life [animal/mineral/vegetable].
