sometimes people find it hard to believe i never saw a mexican before i moved to texas. of shreveport's 200,000 inhabitants, it breaks down like this:
white: 46.66%
black or african american: 50.8%
hispanic or latino: 1.55%
this is why i was revolted by them and their language for so many years after moving here. moving to longview was still weird since they're 70% white bread, 10% hispanic, and only 22% black. then i come down here, where the black population is 10% and hispanics are 30%.
