i'm at the garage where the exits are next to the office. someone just honked at me from the exit. how amusing they think i'll respond to them.
i woke up this morning at 9:45 with the most indescribable pain in my head and tooth. after tossing and turning for a while, i went downstairs to partake of my $1.86 cocoa pebbles from wal-mart (to quote a guy who was just here, "groovy"). by that time it was 11:00, so i sat in my chair and watched dharma and gregg. i slept there during m*a*s*h and the news and woke up when i heard jennifer leave for school.
getting up and moving around and putting my teeth to work actually helped the pain some, enough so i could go back to sleep after third rock from the sun. i woke up at 3:00 and listened to classmates, then ate two more bowls of cocoa pebbles to finish out the milk (i think it had yesterday's date) and sat in the kitchen floor with tima.
so now i'm sitting here, and my head hurts. my tooth hurts a little less. i'm sweating even though i'm cold. my voice is going away and my throat is a tad sore.
last night we went to wal-mart so jennifer could get notebooks and stuff. before we left, i got tima a little purple heart name tag engraved at the machine. since it's so small (it even matches her collar), it just has her name and our phone number. i wanted to put my cell number, but i'm about to change it. jennifer got a silver bone for janeane, and since it was so much longer she fit our address onto it also.
i'm going to make a shirt that says "cute without the e." when i told jennifer, she laughed and said she's going to make one that says "spinster." i bought glittery red fabric paint to write "cute" and plain red paint for the rest. i also got prepackaged strips of fabric, one with red and white plaid and cherries, the other just red and white plaid i think. i'm going to put the cherries around the sleeves i think. i dunno, we'll see. i also bought a t-rex patch, so i'll probably put that next to "cute" or something. i've been craving creating something, so between this and my shelf i should be content at least for a little while.
we looked at mars last night through this tiny hand-held telescope papaw brought us. it just looked like the moon, but still, it's awesome that little thing could make a speck in the sky actually look like the planet. jennifer said something about why stars "twinkle," and said, "well, they're balls of gas going like this. :flails her arms:" she just died laughing and kept repeating, "look, i'm twinkling!" while swinging her arms about. :blush: i told her someone in the building probably called the cops on the "drunk" girls in the parking lot. ;)
on pyramid last night, they had the pine sol lady and jared from subway. jennifer even stayed up late. i was still delirious and acting like a complete nerd, so the majority of my utterances were laughs. i started choking once.
oh! some more of my books came yesterday, including the hamlet from 1897 i got jennifer. she really liked it. as soon as she looked through it, she said, "your turn!" she went to the annual poster sale in jester and got "lady of shelott" and "ophelia"!!! i yelled. oh they're so pretty. they don't have a border or any writing on them at all; it's all color.
jennifer says one of her mentees, rachel, is just like me. jennifer was telling me all these things about her, and once she said she loves army of darkness i told her to make her be our friend. (:
my head hurts too much to keep doing this. back to cubis.
