i thought i'd list the books i've read in the past month (yes, month), authors excluded because i'm lazy:

the bad beginning

the miserable mill
the austere academy

ok, i cheat, i still have 20 pages left of the stranger. god, the whole beach scene when he kills the arab...and she [me] melts. it's amazing.
tomorrow is cat's birthday. i bet he thought i'd forget. but i didn't, and i even have him a snazzy present. yes, snazzy.
nothing much has happened. i got my new address, and i like that i've moved from a 1515 to a 1919. my townhouse is 225B, and i'm not sure why; there's not another 225 in the complex. jennifer and i were like, "two twenty-five :mimicking japanese version of vampire hunter d trailor: beeEEeeeee!" it was funny.
nothing's really happen. la di da. back to reading.
