the fan humming
you know what i'm typing on? oh yes, my brand new computer. it has an 80 gig hard drive, 1.66 GHz processor, 244 MB of RAM, and came with a 17-inch flat screen montior, three free months of msn, and a lexmark z25 printer with 1200 dpi photo quality. i've got to get a cable for it, though. rawr i love my computer. it barely fits on my desk, though. haha. the keyboard's kind of crappy, so i'll have to get used to that. ooh! i need to go get the cds i borrowed from mommy and doug and test out the cd burner. and then watch a movie on my dvd player. ah!

i'm sure i missed some; i always do. anyway, friday night at 6:00, after eating at posado's with the family, i left for austin. i was going to take 79 home, like i accidentally did last time, but this time i accidentally stayed on 31. oh well. the traffic wasn't that bad, until i-35 of course. when i could see the lights of austin i squealed, like all the other times. i picked up cat so he could help me unload my car (honestly, you think i can pick up a computer?). yay, i'm downloading my first song. "eye," by the smashing pumpkins. oh joyous day. oh fortitude. hehe. he was supposed to go to a show, but really, who would rather do that than be around me? jennifer got home, and we went to heb to get stuff for strawberry daquiris. i forgot how to spell that again. they didn't have it, though, so i had to buy this other welch's strawberry stuff that was bitter. oh well. i took cat home around 3:30 and listened to the cd he made for me, which is very good. there are a number of stunning transitions on it. ;)
i took jenn to work this morning, picked her up, and now i'm about to go to best buy. that's about it. tonight jenn and i get to watch final destination, but probably on her computer since it can move and go to the bed. i can watch mine from bed, but 1) it's broken as usual and 2) i doubt she wants to scrunch in a twin bed with me. (: i think i'm seriously just going to take the frame apart and have the boxspring and matress on the floor. it really pisses me off how shoddy the frame is. grr.
