i was going to add something, but i forgot. oh yeah. yesterday i told marc i don't understand how people can enjoy cities like college station and longview. they're so terrible and full of crappy people (longview at least), and there's nothing to do. granted, i never do anything, but if i got the urge (due to medication or alcohol) i have the choice. god and my musicians i get to see. anyway, he said it was because people are each other's entertainment. well, i don't have to be in a shit town to do that.

when i drive around austin, i don't know how anyone can not love this place (at least jennifer agrees). it's not like a cement jungle; just go to the lake or the fringes of the city, and it's nothing but nature. that's why i love it; i could never live in a place sans vegetation and life. deer run rampant in neighborhoods, calmly walking the streets, looking at headlights like they're a major disturbance to their daily lives and seriously need to relocate. i still have to find a way to get to the base of the blinking red towers; i haven't tried yet. the other night i was driving to "i want you to get together," by st. germain. i've never driven to that song. allow me to say, it was fabulous.

i emailed jonathan, told him about marc and how now i've been ditched twice (jab one). then i told him what nana said after i told her he never responds to my emails, how i'll just spend the weekend at home (jab two). i told layla it was mean, but she insists it's not. she also says marc should pay for the week he stayed in the apartment, as does jamie at work. i love when people stick up for me.

i had a customer the other night wearing a used shirt. it had a u, underneath the used. my used shirt was at my feet (wore it to work then changed), and i wanted badly to say, "my used shirt kicks your used shirt's ass." but alas, i did not.

"found a box of sharp objects. what a beautiful thing."
