PANTS! i finally got my jncos today. just like bryan said, my other pants look significantly better, but these are so comfy. i also got a spongebob shirt that has him in his undies, eyes rolled back in his head, that says, "leave my brain alone!" on the back it has the one-eyed parasite dude, pretty small at the top, saying, "never! hahaha!" it's so cute. i also got blue flip flops with sparkley straps, and powerpuff girl socks. the guy at payless was, like, hitting on me or something. i wouldn't know exactly because i've just never had anyone hit on me. he was acting peculiar, but i got my socks 50% off! ^_^ my jeans have got a little chubby blue dude on the back pocket with four arms playing a turn table and holding two microphones. i love the little characters jnco put on their jeans. it was so funny, when jenn and i saw the payless. we for some reason had never seen it, but at the same time we realized it was there and yelled, "payless!" and started charging down the steps. ;)

the guy in my linguistics class, nathaniel, called me three times today with questions and suggestions on the project. yesterday when we met at the library, he said something about how i don't sound like i'm from louisiana. "but then again i haven't heard you talk much."
"yeah, i don't talk to strangers."
"i'm not a stranger; i'm friendly!" then he went off about how if he pulled up after school and said my mom said to ride home with him, then he'd be a stranger. he sorta shook my hand and formally introduced himself (it's cool how he doesn't call himself "nathan" or "nate," but the full "nathaniel"), and as he kept informing me it was ok to talk to him now, i could feel my face turning red. this realization only made it worse, since i knew what a 'tard i probably looked like. when he called the third time i felt like i had a friend. when i answered, he asked, "chelsea?" i said, yeah, and he responded, "hey," and started talking. he abruptly stopped and said, "oh, this is nathaniel." i told him i knew. it was so nice to get a phone call from someone i don't normally talk to and even recognize their voice, even if it was for school.

i'm going to have to get some normal tampons. the ones i got are super plus or whatever; i'm just so used to getting the hardcore pads and stuff, i forget that it's not so bad now that i'm on the pill. i called to tell mom and talk to her about it, but they weren't home. i left the message, "hi, i was just wondering if mom could call me back. i want to talk to her about girl stuff, periods and stuff." i told layla i could just imagine doug's face when he heard that, and sure enough, while i'm talking to mom i hear doug in the background saying, "tell her not to leave such explicit messages. i don't want to hear that." haha. mommy started her rag yesterday, too. that's so cute. doug said he wants her to get a little chalk board to put in the bathroom and have the days counting down to when she starts, with little faces like the ones they use at hospitals to depict how she's feeling that day. that's so funny; i miss being home so much. it's so fun to out-number doug.

jonathan called me earlier today. he's been sick the past few days, and i could tell he was all stopped-up and runny-nosed. i love it when people are sick; they sound so adorable. "you're sick, aren't you?"
"no."
"yes you are, i can hear it. you're all stopped up."
":sniffs: i am not. why would you say that?" hehe.

well i suppose i should go to bed. i took a nap from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., then finished linguistics; that's why i'm up so late. la. okie, back to bed.
